We look back – almost exactly 50 years. The Jaufental valley blossoms with pure nature and endless tranquility. In the middle of it all is the “Sennerhof,” home of Max, and next door is the inherited property. Max meets his Trudi, and in 1972, full of passion, they open a small guesthouse there.
The joy of interacting with guests is immense. Reason enough to offer additional rooms and vacation apartments in the residence, the old schoolhouse of the Jaufental valley, shortly after opening. In 2000, the construction of the swimming pool and wellness area is commissioned.
In 2005, another centerpiece joins the business: Dunja, the couple's eldest daughter. “Thank God” she soon met and fell in love with Flori. Flori, who leads the kitchen team! The team is now perfect.
Soon, new investments were made: the dining room, the mountain wellness area, rooms/suites, hotel facade, reception, bar, and lounge; in the last years, the large construction of the underground car park and the new AMBROS with rooms and suites!
THE AMBROS, furnished with local materials, marble from the Unterland, wood from the Vinschgau Valley. All panoramic windows offer a fascinating view of the surrounding mountains of the Jaufental Valley. Clad with 920 tree trunks, all in larch!
