South Tyrol is a holiday for all the senses. Our region’s culinary delights are as varied as its landscape. Fine game specialities, traditional dumpling dishes and Mediterranean pasta variations are just some of the culinary delights that you can expect at our hotel in Racines/Ratschings. The passionate kitchen team led by your host Flori will indulge you with homemade delicacies from morning till night in the new dining room, surrounded by alpine flair and with a view over the untouched landscapes of the Valgiovo/Jaufental valley. Only fresh food is served here. As we use natural and organic products, from the region and the hotel's own garden, if possible. The bar, entrance area and walk-in wine cupboard are all new in autumn 2019. The female boss Dunja, a prospective sommelier, knows how to advise you best. The boss Florian, a passionate bee-keeper, produces the delicious honey that we spoil you with in the kitchen and wellness area.

What comes from nature tastes best. South Tyrolean nature’s culinary treasures are the basis for the cuisine at our family-run hiking hotel in South Tyrol. Meat and milk from the surrounding farms, fish from the nearby lake, cheese from our neighbours, vegetables from our own fields, herbs from our herb garden ... in short: everything comes from the region and the dishes are seasonal.

At our hotel in Racines/Ratschings in the Valgiovo/Jaufental valley, we prefer to cook with seasonal fruit and vegetables. This is the only way to exquisitely bring the pleasure and taste that authentic South Tyrolean cuisine stands for into its own and to ensure culinary highlights.

We are also happy to prepare vegetarian and vegan delicacies for you. Please let us know if you have an allergies or intolerances. Our chefs will be happy to conjure up an alternative menu for you - without any extra charge, of course.
