What comes from nature tastes best. South Tyrolean nature’s culinary treasures are the basis for the cuisine at our family-run hiking hotel in South Tyrol. Meat and milk from the surrounding farms, fish from the nearby lake, cheese from our neighbours, vegetables from our own fields, herbs from our herb garden ... in short: everything comes from the region and the dishes are seasonal.
At our hotel in Racines/Ratschings in the Valgiovo/Jaufental valley, we prefer to cook with seasonal fruit and vegetables. This is the only way to exquisitely bring the pleasure and taste that authentic South Tyrolean cuisine stands for into its own and to ensure culinary highlights.
The bar, entrance area and walk-in wine cupboard are all new since autumn 2019. The female boss Dunja, a prospective sommelier, knows how to advise you best. The boss Florian, a passionate bee-keeper, produces the delicious honey that we spoil you with in the kitchen and wellness area.
